After John takes us into the throne room to consider the Father and the Son, he then transitions to a new vision that gives an overview of how Christ's rule will look like between His first and second coming. As the world and the Devil unravel, John shows us something about a domain and realm that does not unravel and remains sure and steadfast. John's white horse tells us about the triumph of the lamb in the midst of all the resistance and brokenness of the world. (Re 6:1-8)

After John takes us into the throne room to consider the Father, he then moves us to see the Son. All things start with the Father and then all things are made right by the Son. As the church considers all the brokenness on the ground the church must understand it in light of the broken and slaughtered Lamb as He is seen in heaven. In the first five verses we see the universal cosmic scope of Christ's work in the face of chaos and calamity. In verses five to seven we see somewhat of a microscope on the crucifixion in the vision of Christ as crucified between the throne. In verses eight to ten we see that these things become the song and anthem and celebration of the church in the midst of chaos. (Re 5:8-10)
