How things are built and what founds them determines where they are going and how they will end up. As we take a journey through the account of creation, we will see what grounds our existence and in seeing what grounds existence, see our reality and future in the proper light. What Genesis shows us is that creation is nothing less than the stage that the gospel word would later fill. Creation is not about this great paradise that we are trying to re-attain but it is God's anticipatory stage to His redeemed people as to how they can see the redeeming word in light of the word's work in creation.
