After Paul gives the Christian some firm gospel grounded guidelines for the Christian life, he moves on to show us what these guidelines produce. Every culture has some particular distinctives which are consistent with that culture. So what is the culture of the gospel? In our text we learn that the gospel of Christ creates a community of simplicity, rescue, dependence, eternity, and radical sacrifice. (Php 2:14-18)
